Signcom's machine business is acquired

This acquisition is part of both parties' vision for the future of the machine business. The acquisition of the machine business will form the core of the newly formed company Signcore AB.

Robert, with a few other minority owners, sees this as a unique opportunity to further specialize in the machine segment. Through the establishment of Signcore, the business will be further developed with innovative machine solutions and an even deeper and more accessible technical expertise.

"By creating Signcore, we are taking an important step towards realizing our vision of offering market-leading machine solutions specifically tailored for the graphics industry," says Robert.

"This  opens up for a stronger focus on the machine business and our service offering which aims to offer our customers a premium experience both in terms of machines, quality, productivity, and most importantly, customer service."

The acquisition and the new business will not affect Signcom's other product and service offering, which according to previous communication is now being phased over to Scandraft AB. Signcom's laser and engraving business areas are not included in this acquisition, but will continue to remain under Signcom's management. Signcom ApS in Denmark and Signcom Oy in Finland remain unchanged by future acquisitions.

Signcore will work closely with Signcom and the Scandraft group to ensure a seamless transition and continued high quality of service for existing customers.

The letter of intent states that Robert is scheduled to step down as CEO of Signcom effective March 31 and take over as CEO of Signcore on April 1. Anders Trillkott is scheduled to take office as the new CEO of Signcom on April 1.
