Simplified pricing

Sign Communication Sweden AB, has announced that it has started the last step in the business transition to Scandraft AB. As previously communicated, the Viscom business area has already been fully integrated into Scandraft AB's operations.

The last step means that the Laser & Engraving business area is now integrated into Scandraft AB, as part of the entire Signcom operation now moving to Scandraft AB.

In connection with the move within Laser & Engraving from Signcom to Scandraft, we are also taking the opportunity to adjust the prices of the products so that it will be easier for you as a customer to see the price directly of the products you order from us.

For several years, Signcom has calculated gross prices for goods purchased in euros with a base rate of 10.40 EUR/SEK. (Unless otherwise agreed in writing). The weak Swedish krona means that the currency supplement will be unreasonably large in relation to the product's price.

Scandraft has used a different method to calculate any currency adjustments, to avoid major currency markups on the list prices.

We are therefore changing the product price to be based on the base rate that Scandraft uses to calculate our gross prices for goods purchased in euros, from 10.40 to 11.50 EUR/SEK. We are also introducing a currency zone for our customers between the rate 11.30 - 11.70 EUR/SEK.

This means that Scandraft will not apply currency surcharges to goods if the exchange rate does not exceed 11.70 EUR/SEK. If nothing else is agreed in writing, Scandraft only applies ongoing currency adjustment to goods purchased in euros and invoiced in SEK if the exchange rate should exceed EUR/SEK 11.70.

The reason we are changing the base rate is to simplify and clarify our documents and the dialogues we have with our customers. Our customers are always most important, therefore we implement this change, we listen to our customers' wishes and adapt to the prevailing currency market situation. This does not mean that the customer's price changes, but only the currency portion of the price decreases.

The new price picture for Laser & Engraving applies from May 6, 2024.
