Screen printing films
Screen printing, also known as silkscreen printing, is a versatile technique for transferring ink onto a substrate. It involves using a mesh screen that acts as a stencil to block ink in specific areas, allowing it to pass through onto the substrate.
A stencil is applied onto a mesh screen. Ink is applied to the screen, and a squeegee is used to spread the ink evenly over the stencil-covered mesh. The screen is pressed firmly against the substrate. The squeegee is moved across the screen, forcing ink through the mesh onto the substrate in the open areas of the stencil. As the squeegee passes over, it deposits ink onto the substrate.
Screen printing is favored for its ability to produce vibrant, durable prints on various materials, making it a popular choice for apparel, signage, posters, and more.
